General Terms of Service
Your use of The Gold Sovereign Community (“TGS”) and any service contained within constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions.
The providers ("we", "us", "our") of TGS, are not responsible for any user-generated content and accounts ("Content"). Content submitted express the views of their author only.
All Content you submit or upload may be reviewed by staff members. All Content you submit or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any Content that you consider to be private or confidential. Do not submit any Content to TGS that infringes any Copyright, you must ensure permission has been granted first if not already owned by you or TGS.
The Staff can remove or modify any Content submitted at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion. We may terminate your access to all or any part of TGS at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
Your account can be deleted, you can be blocked or banned at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice by TGS.
You agree to not use TGS to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws. You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content or your conduct.
You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.
These terms may be changed at any time without notice.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not register or use TGS.
Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Trading
Members are not allowed to sell anything that is fake, counterfeit or stolen or otherwise attempt to defraud members of the community in anyway.
Members who are genuine collectors and not operating as a dealer must post topics in the member sales area, dealers must post their items for sale in the dealer area. Dealers who are selling personal items as a collector may post in the Members area. Any attempt to circumvent this system will be seen as an attempt to defraud members and dealt with accordingly.
All items listed for sale must contain an asking price or exchange request for each item or group of items. All topics should contain a photo of the items for sale with a handwritten note with the members username and date. The title of the post shall only use standard forum text, not capitalised. The title shall be concise and summarise the item(s) for sale, i.e. Gold 1817 Sovereign / PCGS Graded 1817 Sovereign, MS61
The only items permissible for sale (or wanted listings) are British or British Commonwealth precious metal coins, bullion and collectable coins. Jewellery may be permitted, if prior agreement is given by TGS staff. No other items can currently be traded on TGS.

Unsolicited comments by members other than the author in sales listings may be removed by TGS staff at any time, without explanation, also the author of a listing may request that a comment is removed for any reason at anytime from a sales listing by using the report function.
A sales listing may be “bumped” once in any 24hour period. If this is not followed the listing may be locked by TGS. Repeat offences will be considered spam.
Trading risk
TGS will not mediate any trades in the community and it is between the buyers and sellers, neither will TGS be involved in the resolution of any issues that they may be due to a trade. TGS is not a party of any trade.
Members and dealers trade at their own risk and TGS shall not be liable for the success or failure of any trade or any losses associated with one. Members and dealers are not vetted prior to joining or trading by TGS on the TGS community.
Members should treat the address, contact details and names (other than TGS username) of other members confidential. Any breach of this shall result in and immediate ban from TGS and where necessary reporting to the authorities.
Members details should only be used for the purpose they are provided by the other member. Misuse will regarded as a breach of confidentiality and result in a ban from TGS.
Members and dealers are not allowed to place posts that are started to link to external websites or content.
Affiliate links are not permitted anywhere in the community without prior agreement of TGS staff.
Abuse of or failure to comply to these rules shall likely result in warning points being awarded, suspension or ban, however this shall be solely at the discretion of TGS staff.
