

Edward VII
The Gold Sovereign featured under the reign of King Edward VII features the King sat bareheaded facing to the right. The initials of the engraver, George William De Saulles, appear under the King.
The reverse of the sovereign displays the St. George design with milled edges. The Initials of Benedetto Pistrucci are present under the image of the slain dragon. The edges of the coin feature an inner linear circle with fine square teeth.
